Saint Monica's Ball

Friday, April the 27th, 2012 - 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
at the Catholic Church of St. Monica - Duluth, GA
Sponsored by St. Monica’s Respect Life Ministry and Youth Group

Welcome to St. Monica’s Ball information page. We hope and pray that the information on this site will help answer all of your questions before purchasing a ticket to the dance. If you need further assistance please feel free to email K. McCusker at: triplejmk@bellsouth.net or Patrick Klein at: Patrick.Klein@saintmonicas.com.

Our Goal: the goal of sponsoring this event is to provide a formal experience in a wholesome atmosphere for our older teens. A formal meal in an elegant setting will be provided as will drinks and dessert. The opportunity for formal pictures will also be available. Music will be chosen from mostly contemporary Christian artists with some ‘clean’ secular music mixed in (clean meaning both the song and the artist are not offensive). A giant video screen will be set up along the dance floor so those attending can watch as well as dance to some of their favorite songs.

Purchasing a Ticket

Tickets are $35 each - checks should be made payable to St. Monica's. Included in the ticket price: full formal meal* w/ all attending table settings, elegant desserts, drinks (sodas, lemonade, water), pictures w/ commemorative frames, and a keepsake favor to take home. All of this in the beautiful atmosphere of the Eternal City, Rome.

To purchase a ticket please print off the BEHAVIOR & DRESS CODE AGREEMENT forms. Each teen attending, and their parent(s), must read and sign these forms before any ticket can be issued. Once the teen and parent(s) sign the forms they can drop off their forms to the parish office. Please address the envelope to Julie McLaughlin and also include your mailing address. If you must mail in your paperwork please email us at info@saintmonicasball.com for the correct mailing address.

As long as the teen and parent(s) agree to ALL the terms listed on the Behavior & Dress Code a ticket will be mailed out as soon as the check and paperwork are processed. A teen CANNOT purchase 2 tickets (as in one for a date). If your teen would like to bring a date that date must then print off and sign, along with his/her parent(s), the Behavior & Dress Code Agreement. A teen can pay for their date’s ticket but the ticket will not be issued until the paperwork is received. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Ticket sales end on APRIL 15TH. GREAT door prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening (this is a free drawing - names are put into the hat when tickets are purchased).

*A non-meat dish will also be served for those who are either vegetarians or who observe no meat on Fridays year round.
